Community Guidelines
Enlistr is a community-based marketplace. These are the standards that keep it trustworthy for everyone.
Last updated: July 17, 2026
Enlistr connects independent creators - hosts, event organisers, tour operators, and service providers - with the people who book them. We don't own or run the listings; the community does. These guidelines are what everyone signs up to so the marketplace stays safe and honest.
If you create listings
- List only what you have the right to offer, and keep it accurate - real photos, honest descriptions, correct pricing and availability.
- Honour confirmed bookings and deliver the listing as advertised.
- Follow the laws that apply to you - short-term-rental rules, permits, event and tour licensing, taxes, and consumer protection.
- Communicate and transact through Enlistr so both sides are protected; don't push customers to pay off-platform.
- You are responsible and liable for your listing and for what happens under a booking.
If you book
- Book in good faith and show up for what you reserve.
- Leave reviews based only on a genuine first-hand experience.
- Treat creators and their property, staff, and other guests with respect.
- Use your own judgement before booking, and report anything that looks off.
Not allowed
- Misleading, fake, or duplicate listings, or bait-and-switch pricing.
- Discrimination, harassment, hate, or threats toward anyone in the community.
- Illegal offerings, or anything that endangers people or exploits minors.
- Manipulating reviews - your own or anyone else's - or creating accounts to evade a suspension.
- Steering payments off-platform to avoid protections or fees.
Reviews
Reviews are the community's memory. They must reflect a real, first-hand experience. Buying, trading, or pressuring for reviews - or posting them about yourself or a competitor - is grounds for removal and account action.
Reporting keeps everyone honest
Every listing can be reported at any time using the Report option on the listing page. You don't need to be certain - if something looks wrong, tell us. Reports are reviewed and acted on quickly: a listing that draws credible reports is hidden and then removed, and repeat or serious offenders lose their accounts. This is how the community weeds out bad actors. See our Trust & Safety page for how that process works.
Consequences
Breaking these guidelines can mean a listing being hidden or removed, a warning, or suspension or termination of your account - depending on the severity and whether it happens again. Serious or unlawful conduct may be reported to the relevant authorities. The full rules are in our Terms of Service.
