Trust & Safety
A verified, community-based marketplace - here's how we keep it safe.

How trust works here
Enlistr is a marketplace, not the owner of the listings on it. Each host, organiser, operator, and service provider creates and controls their own listing and is responsible for it. Our job is to give the community the tools to keep each other honest, and to act quickly when something is wrong.
Community-based verification
"Verified, community-based" means trust is built by the people who use Enlistr, not by a promise that we have individually inspected every listing. Creators complete identity verification (KYC) before they can publish, and the community keeps listings honest in the open: real reviews from real bookings, and the ability to report anything that looks wrong. A listing earns its reputation - or loses it - in front of everyone.
Report anything, any time
Every listing has a Report option. You can use it at any time, and you don't need to be sure - if a price, photo, description, or behaviour looks off, report it. Reports are reviewed and acted on quickly: a listing that draws credible reports is hidden from search while it is checked, and removed if it doesn't hold up. Creators who repeat or commit serious violations lose their accounts. Weeding out bad actors fast is the whole point.
Know where your payment goes
For direct-payment reservations, the approved processor collects only Enlistr's clearly shown platform fee. You pay the listing owner or service provider directly, and Enlistr does not hold that money. Keep the booking, agreed terms, messages, and payment confirmation on Enlistr, and use a traceable direct-payment method whenever possible.
Booking safely
- Read recent reviews and the full listing before you book.
- Keep questions and agreements on Enlistr, and retain your direct-payment receipt.
- Use your own judgement - if a deal looks too good to be true, slow down.
- Report anything that feels wrong; you help protect the next person too.
What we do about violations
Depending on severity we hide or remove listings, issue warnings, and suspend or terminate accounts, and we may report unlawful conduct to the relevant authorities. Liability for a listing sits with its creator; our role is to run the marketplace and respond to the community. The full rules are in our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
